Estrategias para aprobar la parte 2 del B2 First de Cambridge
Examina las fotografías con atención
Observa las imágenes y piensa en el vocabulario que sabes.
Fíjate en los detalles, como personas, objetos, lugares y actividades. Esto te ayudará a identificar elementos clave para mencionar en tu respuesta.
Empieza diciendo, a grandes rasgos, qué ves. Primero en una foto y después en la otra. Así estarás poco a poco comparando.
Utiliza linkers para unir las fotos y los modales, porque realmente no sabes qué piensan, qué les ha pasado, etc. Si no, que estás deduciendo o confirmanto alguna cosa.
Por ejemplo:
In the top photo, there’s a group of university students who might be having a brainstorming meeting. One of them seems to be the leader, and the others are taking notes. They might be discussing what to add to a collaborative project they may have to do together.
Whereas in the bottom photo, there is a large group of around 15 kids who are using computers. They must be in an IT class or participating in an interactive online course. It can’t be an exam because their books are on the desks.

Una vez que tu compañero ha comparado sus fotografías y contestado a su pregunta, el examinador te preguntará algo relativo a las fotos de tu compañero.
Recuerda que es importante escuchar porque puedes coger ideas para responder a tu pregunta.

Q: Do you prefer learning things on your own or with friends?
I personally prefer learning things on my own, because whenever I have tried to study with friends, we didn’t end up studying much! Plus, for me it’s very distracting to be with other people around. I used to study in my room because I found that going to libraries had the same problem. I would get distracted very easily!
